Storage units change ownership in $575K deal –

Clark County real estate transactions recorded between Feb. 21 through March 6, 2025, having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names. A variety of factors, including improvements made to a home or property, are considered in real estate prices that may increase from when the seller bought the property.

The exchange with the largest sum of money in this round of real estate transactions was the $575,000 sale of storage units at 60 Robin Lane, Arkadelphia. PaDuVa LLC d/b/a Clark County Storage bought the three warehouses totaling 10,700-SF of storage units. Selling the property was HSE LLC, registered to John Hatchett of Little Rock and which bought the units for $325,000 in 2019. The buyer is an LLC registered to Riley Park of Mountain Home.

For $230,000 John and Nancy Hardman purchased 13.25 acres of mixed timber and pasture sandwiched between Mount Zion Church Road and Mayridge Road, adjacent to and south of Highway 51. Selling the property was Rebecca Reed and Pamela Rowe, et al.

In Hollywood, Dewey Wright bought a home on 36.82 acres of pasture adjacent to Highway 53 North for $205,000. There are no details listed for the residence. Selling the property was Davis Land & Cattle LLC f/k/a Jim & Aimee Davis Farms LLC registered in Corning. The Davises bought the property for $82,000 in 2017.

A 1,564-SF frame siding home at the 100 block of Madden Lane, Caddo Valley, sold for $192,500 to Kevin and Thelma McClure. The purchase includes four lots. Sellers Timothy and Philadelphia Fielder-Bland bought the place in 2014 for $113,000.

Ownership changed hands for the U.S. Post Office in Gurdon. WE Realty LLC, a Georgia company, sold the 3,230-SF building to Postal Assets LLC of Tulsa, Oklahoma, for $180,000. The property, located at 110 Joslyn St., last changed hands in 2023, when WE Realty picked it up for $150,000. The transaction does not affect the post office operation.

Wayne and Tanya Ruble sold a 1,400-SF brick home at the 300 block of Gum Street. Alec Ruble picked up the 4.52-acre Gum Springs property for $170,000. The Rubles bought it in 2023 for $75,000.

A 22.29-acre pasture at the end of Harmony Lane, Amity, changed ownership when Marcus Motes of Hot Springs bought it from Gregory Henthorn of Amity for $150,000.

For $137,500 Maria and Joseph Hoffman bought a 1,680-SF mobile home on 3 acres at Fall Circle, in the DeGray community. Selling the property was Martin Campbell of Spiro, Oklahoma.

The parking lot encompassing 701-707 Clinton Street, in downtown Arkadelphia, sold for $125,000. Huie and Martha Dixon sold the lot, which is north of and adjacent to the Bee Hive Thrift Store, to Dawson Education Service Cooperative.

Rounding out the past two weeks of property transactions was the $105,000 sale of 34 acres of timber on East Whelen Road, just west of East Whelen Baptist Church. Pomeroy Land Development LLC, registered to Seth Pomeroy, bought the land from Jerry and Rhonda Gates, who bought the acreage in 2010 for $34,000.
