Chhaava box office collection day 7: Vicky Kaushal film one step away from becoming his highest grosser dethroning URI: The Surgical Strike
Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 7: The way Chhaava has emerged as a brilliant performer at the box office is commendable. The makers have successfully created the right buzz and executed great marketing, not only reaching the intended audience but also drawing in viewers who may not have been keen initially. Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, was indeed an anticipated movie, but no one predicted that it could surpass the lifetime earnings of Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi in just six days of release—a massive feat. Now, the movie is all set to become the highest-grossing film of Vicky Kaushal’s career. Below is all you need to know about its box office run.
Chhaava Box Office Update
As Chhaava continues to dominate the box office in India, there is much to analyze about its impressive theatrical run. Starring Vicky Kaushal, the film has earned ₹22 crore on day 7, according to Sacnilk. As the movie completes its first week in theaters, it is noteworthy that it has not dipped below the ₹20 crore mark on any single day. This consistency indicates that the film is likely to remain on the big screen for a long time. The total box office collection now stands at a staggering ₹219.75 crore.
If the movie manages another day with ₹20 crore-plus collections, it will surpass the lifetime box office earnings of URI: The Surgical Strike and become Vicky Kaushal’s highest-grossing film ever. The Aditya Dhar directorial earned ₹244.14 crore in India. It will be interesting to see if Chhaava can achieve this milestone on its eighth day of release.

Chhaava Declared Tax-Free in Madhya Pradesh & Goa
With the movie portraying the story of one of the greatest rulers of the Maratha Empire, Chhaava has been declared tax-free in Goa by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. Yesterday, while posting on his X account, Sawant wrote: “छत्रपती संभाजी महाराज की जय! It gives me great pleasure to announce that the movie Chhaava, based on the life and sacrifice of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, will be tax-free in Goa.”
He further added: “The movie, exploring the valor and courage of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj for Dev, Desh, and Dharma, played by Vicky Kaushal, brings glorious history to the screen. The sacrifice of the second Chhatrapati of the Hindavi Swarajya, who valiantly fought against the Mughals and the Portuguese, is an inspiration for all of us.
