Reacher star Alan Ritchson opens up about the “three hardest weeks” of his life filming the series’ hotly anticipated fight scene.

Reacher Season 3 Premiere Review: The Show Takes Risks for Its Most Ambitious Story Yet

The trio of episodes that launch Reacher Season 3 are less heavy on the action but not devoid of tension as he takes on a mission bigger than him.

“Over the course of the season, there’s a lot of tension mounting between these two characters, and it all comes to a head with this one grand fight that took three weeks for us to film,” Ritchson continued. “Those were the three hardest weeks of my life. I mean, both of us were broken and battered and had bone breaks and tendon tears by the end. It was a really difficult thing to get through. But it was also really rewarding. The audience hasn’t really gotten to experience anything quite like this. Reacher usually handles himself really easily and it’s anything but this season. I think people will really enjoy it.”
