When Jenn Crossman found herself unable to work due to an injury, the Outer Banks Relief Foundation provided critical financial support to help her stay afloat. Inspired by the foundation’s generosity, Jenn teamed up with a longtime friend and fellow hospitality industry professional Susie Stanovsek to create the First Annual Misfits Bar Crawl, a unique event that combined holiday cheer with giving back. Their efforts raised an incredible $16,523 for the Relief Foundation, ensuring more local families receive the help they need during difficult times.

The Misfits Bar Crawl, held from November 26 through New Year’s Eve 2024, transformed 15 local restaurants and bars into festive gathering spots, each offering holiday-themed decorations, specialty cocktails, and food specials. Participants purchased Misfits postcards for $10, which allowed them to collect stamps at each participating location. Many bars and restaurants also contributed 10% of their Misfits merchandise sales to OBRF, further boosting the fundraiser’s impact.

The community rallied behind the cause, with local businesses stepping up to add even more support. Kiefer Pirrung of Outer Banks Beverage Co. raised $1,000 by selling Stella etched glassware, while Tito’s Vodka, represented by Korinna Santee, donated $2,000 through a $1-per-drink initiative.

We do not take money from any political parties. We do not endorse India’s ruling party BJP and India’s Prime Minister’s position on keeping India a closed market, ambiguous economy, and keeping India as a heavy taxing country so no one from outside world wants to do business here. It’s like denying India its right in the world…
BJP Government also discourages small and local media, coming down on them heavily regulating and using lawful actions along with soft threats from demented bureaucrat extremists and other extremist groups. On one hand, the mainstream media in India is getting rich and on other hand the local small media is being strangulated. So if not automated or required, We do not willfully publish any content from India or pertaining to that country.
