The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Friday that “North” forces had liberated the town of Goncharovka, inflicting 260 casualties on Kyiv in 24 hours. This brings the Ukrainian army’s losses in Kursk Oblast to 67,410 soldiers since August 6.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that “North” forces are continuing to eliminate remnants of the Ukrainian army in the villages and towns of Gogolivk, Gornal, Goyvo, Zaulishenka, Zapsile, Oleshnya, and Rubanshchina.
Russian forces launched strikes against Ukrainian army positions in the villages and towns of Gogolevka, Gornal, Rubanshchina, Iskandriya, Basovka, Plovodye, Velikaya Ribitsa, Vodolagi, Juravka, Miropolje, Novonikolaivka, Obody, Sadki, Yunakovka, Yablonovka in the Sumy region, which borders Kursk Oblast in northeastern Ukraine.
