SRK’s Baazigar Co-Star Could Not Afford Milk For His Daughter. After The Film Became A Hit: ‘Met people For…’

Whilst many of its cast members became big stars, Adi Irani, who played Vicky Malhotra, appeared to fade into the background. In a latest interview with Filmytantra Media, Adi Irani shared the struggles he faced after movies like Anari (1993) and Baazigar (1993).
Adi, who is actress Aruna Irani’s brother, recalled, “My first daughter was born in 1995, and at that point in time, milk cost Rs 5, and every now and then I did not actually have that. Every day I had to exit into the city and meet human beings for jobs and roles, and I had borrowed my buddy’s scooter. Every now and then I did not even have cash to top off the tank.”
Adi Irani said that when he couldn’t have enough money for petrol, he could walk to the bus stop. people might ask why he became there, and he might lie, announcing he was awaiting a pal. “I used to stroll from my house to the bus stop on the days I could not manage to pay for petrol. people used to ask me, ‘What are you doing at a bus stop?’ and I used to lie and say that I used to be simply watching for a friend. They used to mention, ‘Why would you want to travel on a bus?’ after which I used to sneak domestic,” the actor remembered.
When asked if his sister, actor Aruna Irani, became aware of his scenario, Adi Irani explained, “My sister knew about my state of affairs and offered her assistance normally; however, I refused. I am her brother; however, that does not mean that she will be able to contend with me all her existence; that became my personal battle, and moreover, she had a family of her own to take care of.”
Adi Irani additionally became part of salman Khan’s Chori Chori Chupke Chupke along with Preity Zinta.
